A place in parts
According to the museum, the canon consists of 49 windows, from prehistory to modern times. In this way a long history is divided into smaller subjects. You do not need to know everything already: the windows help you find a period or theme that matches your interests.
Permanent and changing
The permanent display is on the first and second floors. The museum also describes a programme of temporary exhibitions. Check the current subject in advance, especially if you have visited MUBO before. Ask about access to the upper floors if stairs are difficult for you.
A weekend afternoon
Regular opening is on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. A visit by appointment is also possible. Exceptions apply around public holidays: Easter Monday and Whit Monday are listed as open, while several other public holidays are closed. Check the announcements before you set off.
