According to the museum, the collection includes pictures, writings and photographs, as well as other objects. If you are not familiar with the subject, you can use the explanations to understand the church terms. In this way the names attached to the pieces become a way into the subject rather than assumed prior knowledge.
A film to complement the visit
The announced documentary is about Boxtel’s heritage relating to the chapter and the Canonije. Ask during your visit when the film can be watched. The visual story can help you make connections between the individual pieces in the collection and the place where they are displayed.
A monthly opening
The regular chance to visit is the last Sunday of the month. Groups can arrange another time by telephone. Admission is listed as free, with room for a voluntary donation. Check the date carefully: it is not every Sunday.
