The permanent exhibition in the Koningin Wilhelmina Paviljoen covers the castle, the Koninklijke Militaire Academie (Royal Military Academy) and the Cadettenbataljon (Cadet Battalion). That is the regular way into the subject described. Check in advance where you need to report for the exhibition and which admission conditions apply.
Seeing the castle itself
Guided tours of the castle are mentioned in connection with special openings, among others, such as Nassaudag and Open Monumentendagen (Heritage Days). Such a mention does not mean ongoing access. Look at the programme for the date you want to come and check which rooms are actually included in a tour.
An appointment is something else
Appointments are mentioned for schools and guided tours. When you make a request, discuss who will be coming and which part you want to visit. The exhibition’s Tuesday hours do not automatically apply to the castle grounds; the restricted access remains important whenever you plan.
