Kinship and difference
The family name links the works, but also invites you to look for differences. Pay attention to subject, colour and painting style in the works on display. The explanatory texts help you tell the artists apart, without your needing to know beforehand how they were related.
A changing perspective
Besides the family collection, there are themed exhibitions and presentations with other artists. Check the current programme if you are coming for a particular subject. After all, a photo of an earlier exhibition says nothing about which works you can expect in the galleries now.
Arranging a guided tour
You can visit on your own during regular opening hours; for a guided tour, get in touch in advance. On Sunday, opening starts later than on the other visiting days. The museum also has various individual closing days, including 11 November. Check the calendar and raise accessibility questions when booking.
