Choosing a period
The park covers a long span of time. First choose a period or subject that makes you curious, so that you have time to ask questions. Taking a careful look at one activity can reveal more than briefly passing everything.
Talking with the residents
The historical residents and demonstrations prompt conversations about actions, materials and ways of life. Ask what is being portrayed and what the explanation is based on. Around midday there is a break during which you should not count on the same activities.
Planning a day in the park
Allow for walking outdoors and for the weather. Normal opening is from Tuesday to Sunday; during school holidays in the southern region (regio Zuid) it may also be open on Monday. There are also separate closing days, including the Eindhoven marathon.
Before you go
Check the calendar and the accessibility of the site; on 11 October 2026 the park is closed because of the marathon.
