Start with something familiar
Choose a product group you know and see how older appliances were operated. Which buttons or connections do you still recognise? Use that first recognition to look more closely at less familiar appliances, without trying to understand every technical detail straight away.
Preserving and keeping things working
Many appliances in the collection have been preserved in working order. Ask which can be explained or demonstrated during your visit. The difference between a static object and an appliance in use can raise new questions about design and operation.
Finding the right entrance
Individual visitors can come on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Groups make an appointment and can also discuss other times. You reach the site via gate 7800; parking inside the gate is possible. The exhibition is wheelchair accessible.
