Village life in different ways
In the Paulushofje, farmhouse rooms and crafts offer a way into everyday life. The history of psychiatry and a story about early aviation are also among the subjects. Choose a few sections so you can take a good look at how they differ.
A second location
The Van Gogh Experience is in the church at Markt 4. The Paulushofje is at Markt 59. One ticket lets you visit both, but they are two addresses with different displays. Allow time for the walk and for both parts.
An inhabited almshouse courtyard (hofje)
Respect the residents’ privacy during your visit. The museum has fixed afternoon hours and a few Sunday openings; groups can discuss other options. Use the current name and visitor information so that you do not rely on old listings for the local history museum.
