Following a task
On demonstration days you can watch craftwork or farming activities, for example. Choose one demonstration to follow from start to finish and ask which steps you are seeing. The programme varies from day to day; not all crafts are active all the time.
The village as a whole
Also walk between the separate parts, paying attention to their function. How does the display bring living, working and meeting together? A visit to the café can make a break, while packages such as a ride are planned separately.
Season and events
The regular opening runs from late March to early November and does not cover every day of the week. Major events have their own tickets and conditions. So check whether you are choosing a regular museum day or an event, especially outside the normal season.
