Different functions on one farmyard
See how each building represents a different function. The weaver’s cottage offers a different way in from the Flemish barn or cart shed. When you arrive, ask which parts are open and how best to follow the route.
Look outside too
The herb garden and bee house add other subjects to the collection. During an arranged guided tour, the De Wilde corn mill may possibly be included too. That is an additional arrangement, not an automatic part of every open afternoon.
The right Sunday
In season, the museum is open to the public on the first and third Sunday of the month. The name Museum Heemerf De Schutsboom refers to the same location, not to a second museum. For groups and visits outside those afternoons, make an appointment in advance.
