Daily life upstairs
On the first floor, farming and crafts come together with subjects such as the school, the shop and the village doctor. See how each section evokes a different setting. The explanations help you avoid placing all the objects in the same period or the same household.
Clothing, finds and garden
Downstairs you will find bonnets (poffers), caps and archaeological subjects, among other things. Outside, the native plant garden with its horse mill (rosmolen) adds a different kind of heritage. Ask which rooms are accessible during the open day and how you can divide up your tour.
A monthly afternoon
The regular opening is on the last Sunday of the month, with December as the exception. A group visit outside those times is by appointment. As part of the museum is on an upper floor, contacting them in advance is advisable if stairs are a limitation for you.
