On your tour, pick something ordinary, such as preparing food or work in the farmyard. See which objects and spaces belong to it. An audio tour or guide helps to connect separate elements into an understandable whole.
The garden as a complement
In the vegetable garden, almost forgotten vegetables get attention, and there is a baking oven. Ask which activities are taking place on the day of your visit; the presence of a facility does not mean it is in constant use. School programmes have their own content.
A suitable time to visit
Weekday seasonal opening consists of short mornings, while the weekend has afternoon hours. The museum is largely wheelchair accessible, but the temporary exhibition in the attic is not. Groups and schools always make an appointment in advance, including outside the season.
