Photographs and family trees offer different ways into local history. Bring as many leads as possible, such as a name, a street or a likely period. That way you can ask more specifically what material is available and how you can consult it.
Adding the Watersnoodwoning
The centre is next to the Swedish Watersnoodwoning (flood disaster house). It offers a different visitor experience from consulting documentation. Discuss a combination in advance, especially if you want to take more time or have specific accessibility requirements.
Short open afternoons
The regular opening is on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Other times or an extra Saturday may also be announced. If in doubt, have the current opening confirmed; for groups and appointments outside the regular hours, direct contact is needed.

Check the centre and the Watersnoodwoning separately if you want to visit both; the house has limited accessibility.
