The story of the castle is told in the cellar and on the upper floor. See the building as part of that history, not just as a shell for the displays. The freely accessible castle garden with sculptures offers an additional outdoor route.
A different view in the Kunsthal
The Kunsthal has its own address and a changing programme. One ticket is valid for both venues, but what you see there differs greatly. Check the current exhibition before deciding how to divide your time between the two.
Confirming accessibility
At the castle, a stairlift has been reported as temporarily in place of the usual lift. Ask in advance what this means for your visit. Also check opening times and holiday variations for each venue, so that a combination does not end at a closed part.
