Choosing an industry
Start with a sector that makes you curious. Which materials and activities are central, and how does the display make them understandable? A focused start helps to break the broad concept of industry down into specific questions.
Looking for connections
Then look at a second sector and compare what you see. Printing requires different actions from metalworking, while energy plays a role in several industries. Temporary exhibitions may highlight a specific company or another development.
Keeping an eye on the calendar
The regular visiting times are a Thursday morning and the last Sunday of the month. During special programmes, such as Knaal 200 jaar, extra openings are possible. Check those dates separately and arrange group visits in advance; an office or knowledge function does not mean free access every day.
