Following a process
See which steps the explanation distinguishes between raw material and end product. The mill and bakery setting offer different points of reference, but access to each part must be available separately.
Looking at the oven
The wood-fired oven is a highlighted feature. Ask what workings or demonstration will be explained during your visit; regular opening does not guarantee that baking is taking place at any given moment.
Baking yourself
Workshops cover specific products, such as sausage bread (worstenbrood) or crumble flan (kruimelvlaai). They require a separate booking and more time than just a walk round the museum.
Before you go
Check the available start times on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Use the Luyksgestel website with the correct museum name and ask about the accessibility of the museum and mill.
