The village history offers a different angle from the literary work. See how the museum explains the connection, without automatically reading a novel as a factual description of the village.
A small-scale visit
The museum is run with volunteers and has a limited seasonal schedule. For another day, arrangements must be made in advance so that the necessary guidance can be available.
Before you go
Check the last Saturday of the season and make other arrangements well in advance. The ground floor is wheelchair accessible, but there is no lift to the upper floor.
