Choose a starting point
The exhibitions cover subjects from occupation to liberation. On arrival, decide where you want to start and see how much time you have. A clearly chosen route helps you follow the content without having to rush from room to room.
Hardware with explanations
Vehicles and other military equipment form a separate part of the museum. Look beyond size or appearance and seek out the explanation of function and use. A guided tour of the military collection can help you understand the connections between the pieces.
Combining two perspectives
There are also guided tours about the Netherlands in the Second World War and combined routes. Choose the format that matches your interests. With children or a school group, it makes sense to discuss in advance which subjects and visit length are suitable.
Before you go
At weekends, opening is later than on weekdays. Check the public holiday calendar and register groups at least two weeks in advance.
