At Markt in Miniatuur you can view the village on a different scale. Look at how streets and buildings are arranged in relation to each other and read which period the model depicts. Even without local knowledge, you can discover differences between the parts.
From public to domestic
The post, the police lock-up (politiekot) and a living room are among the museum’s themes. They draw attention to different sides of village life. Compare how the objects are presented within each theme and which activities you can imagine with them.
An appointment with the village
The museum opens on announced days; there is no fixed weekly opening. Groups can request a separate visit or guided tour. When booking, say whether you are mainly interested in the miniature, the photos or other parts.
