Learning to recognise a process
Start with the hand tools and look in the explanations for the process each was used for. The film footage can help you connect a static object with a movement. Then look at the tools again: what do you now understand better about their shape?
Upstairs to the shoemaking
The upper floor covers shoemaking. This shifts the focus from working leather to making a product. Compare which tools are shown there and ask how the different tasks relate to each other.
Machines among the greenery
The town garden holds larger leatherworking machines, set among fruit trees. Their scale differs from that of the hand tools inside. Keep the two parts separate when planning: an open garden does not automatically mean that the little museum house is accessible.

The museum and the town garden have different hours. The season ends on 30 September; groups can request an appointment.
