What the collection covered
The collection emphasised Dutch radios beyond the familiar Philips story. Receivers and documentation together offered a way into radio technology. That subject remains interesting for enthusiasts, but the former display can no longer be seen in Reusel.
The collection has been dispersed
According to the Nederlandse Vereniging voor de Historie van de Radio, a core collection with library went to Beeld & Geluid. Other objects went to various destinations. This does not establish a complete successor to the old museum or a permanent exhibition in one new place.
Ask about research separately
If you are interested in a specific set or document, you can ask the institution concerned about research options. A mention of a depot does not mean that you can walk in without an appointment. So do not use the museum’s old opening hours and contact details to plan an outing.
Before you go
The former address in Reusel is no longer a museum location. Ask the current custodian directly about any access to the collection.
