The Verhalenbank (Story Bank) brings together personal memories of Philips, Liga and V&D, among others. Read what experience someone describes and from what perspective. A memory makes a subject personal and can at the same time raise new questions about work and daily life.
Looking at the space itself
The temporary display is in a former PTT canteen. Details such as tiles and signs invite you to look at the exhibition’s surroundings too. Ask which elements belong to the building and which were added for the display.
Talking more about the town
The Verhalencafé (Story Café) is on the programme as a monthly activity. Check the calendar if you want to take part: a normal museum opening does not mean that a gathering is also taking place. The temporary location also calls for a different route from the familiar museum address.

Go to Kadeplein 2 and follow the route to the first floor. There is a lift; check the activities calendar.
