A city made of material
The permanent display combines very different kinds of heritage. See how a find is placed next to a document or the story of a building and how the different elements complement each other.
Taking part in the ArcheoHotspot
The ArcheoHotspot offers the chance to watch or take part in archaeological work. Ask on site what work is available and follow the instructions of the supervisors.
Research needs preparation
The reading room of the municipal archives has different access from the exhibition. To consult records, make an appointment and discuss which documents you need.
Before you go
Check the Monday to Thursday timetable and public holiday closures. Groups of fifteen or more and archive visitors register in advance; the building is described as wheelchair accessible.
