Looking further outside
From the bastion you can include the surroundings in your visit. The transition between fortress and open landscape gives your viewing a different scale from the indoor display.
Before you go
Opening times change between summer and autumn; there is a closed period in winter. A stairlift is mentioned, but discuss in advance whether it meets your needs.
