The display brings together old and newer forms of pig farming. Choose one subject and see how the difference is explained. Which objects or images help? By comparing in a focused way, a broad subject such as agricultural history becomes easier to follow.
A treasure hunt as a viewing aid
Children can go exploring with a treasure hunt. Let them search on their own first and then discuss what they noticed. The tasks provide a starting point for questions about the animals and the work on a farm, without everyone needing the same prior knowledge.
Visiting on a Kato day
Public openings follow the Bij Kato days and additional holiday days. So the museum is not a separate location with its own daily schedule. Ask which parts of the farm experience are available on your chosen day and what is included in the visit.
