The centre’s subject
The former art centre focused on painters around Eindhoven and Heeze, including Peter van den Braken and Kruysen. Those names offer a way into getting to know their work further. The current website can be used as a reference for this.
Reading biographies at leisure
Choose one artist online and read which subjects and works are discussed. Note what you want to look at or research further. A biographical page is a different kind of introduction from standing in front of a painting; it does not give access to the original museum.
No visits to the old collection
After the closure, the collection was transferred to an auction house. Old exhibition announcements or photos therefore do not mean that the work still hangs together in Sterksel. For a specific artwork, search separately for its current location or an announced exhibition.
Before you go
The centre is closed and has no valid visiting hours. An active website does not mean a reopening.
