Searching for sound yourself
In the MuziekLab you can try out percussion, wind and string instruments. Follow the instructions and compare how different it feels to make a sound. You do not need to have had music lessons to listen attentively to your own attempt.
The work behind the sound
The restoration workshop shows machines, tools and instruments being restored. Ask how a part is examined or repaired. This gives playing in the MuziekLab a counterpart: the care needed to keep an instrument usable.

Tuesday is for groups by appointment only. Check guided tour times and public holiday arrangements; the building has a lift.
