A theme to reflect on
The museum exhibitions link Peerke Donders with the subject of charity. On a visit after the closure you can see how that theme is developed. Which examples are used, and what questions do they raise for you? Check the new programme first.
Including the surroundings
In the park, the chapel and the birthplace are part of getting to know Peerke Donders. They give the subject a different setting from an exhibition. Ask which parts are open on the day of your visit and take time to see how they relate to one another.
A combination takes planning
The park is open on more days than the museum. If you want to combine both, choose a museum day after the temporary closure. A walk on its own is also possible, but it does not replace a visit to an exhibition that is not open at that time.
