Preserving by working with it
Machines and craft heritage are central to the foundation’s work. Museum and workshop come together in the former CHV complex. During a visit, ask how preservation and explanation relate to each other for a particular collection item.
Choosing an activity
Besides regular museum opening, activities such as an Open Actie Dag are organised. Such a day can be filled differently from a quiet tour. Check the calendar and expect demonstrations only when they have actually been announced.
Arranging one visit
Use the contact and visitor details of Museum SIEMei to make an appointment. A guided tour has its own conditions and can also be discussed outside the fixed opening hours. The venue is largely wheelchair friendly, but thresholds sometimes call for extra arrangements.
Before you go
This is the same venue as Museum SIEMei. Do not book a second visit under the foundation’s name.
