Documents, uniforms, equipment and aircraft parts offer different ways into the story. First follow the main historical thread and then choose a subject you would like to explore further. That way changes in use and equipment remain distinguishable from one another.
Looking around with explanation
Video and a guided tour support the display. Ask in advance which parts will be available during your visit; an earlier visitor report is no guarantee of, for example, a simulator activity. The fixed guided tour times determine how you plan the appointment.
Registering and identification
Register at least a week in advance and wait for confirmation. Bring valid ID and arrive in plenty of time for the entry procedure. The Tuesday and Friday hours are not walk-in times; there are no guided tours on public holidays.
