From outside to inside
The copper domes define the exterior. Take that first impression inside with you and see how the space is structured. An audio tour can help you understand the architecture and furnishings better without knowing much about church building beforehand.
Taking your time over the details
During your visit, choose a few elements to look at for longer instead of just photographing the space as a whole. Let the information show which function or meaning belongs to them. The audio tour is not available during concerts and services.
Chapel hours are different
The Mariakapel (Lady Chapel) has its own daily hours for prayer and lighting a candle. That opening does not give access to a full tour of the church. Check the calendar, as activities can limit the museum-style tour or make it temporarily impossible.
