The programme described includes a demonstration of an old hand letterpress. Ask how a printing forme is prepared and which steps lead to a print. That gives you a concrete way into a technique that you would otherwise mainly recognise from the end result.
Screen printing as a second technique
Screen prints and poems add another side. A comparison between techniques can make clear why a maker chooses a particular process. Discuss in advance which demonstrations and exhibition rooms are actually included in the visit.
