Not everything flowers at once
Fruit, lilacs, roses, clematis and cut flowers offer different areas to explore. Look not only at the flowers, but also at growth habit and how the cultivation is laid out. After all, a horticultural museum also has something to tell outside the most striking flowering season.
From growing to auctioning
The auction room with a historic auction clock adds selling to the story. There are separate flower and plant auctions on announced days. Check the calendar if you want to combine such an activity with a garden visit.
Season and appointment
The regular museum season runs from April to October inclusive. Groups can also enquire about options outside that period. Events or plant sales in winter do not automatically mean that the whole museum garden is open as usual.
