Remains with a provenance
Aircraft wrecks and parts make up an important part of the collection. With each piece, look at what information is given about its provenance and the event. That makes it possible to look beyond just the technology or the damage.
Stories on the ground too
Besides the air war, the museum covers the occupation, resistance and going into hiding. These subjects put a different emphasis from the aircraft collection. Give them their own part of your visit, so that the different aspects do not get mixed up.
A fort as a museum
The corridors and exhibition rooms are listed as accessible for wheelchairs and rollators; there is also an adapted toilet. Regular opening is at weekends. For a group or guided tour, get in touch in advance.
