Reading a photograph
Besides the subject, take framing, light and viewpoint into account as you look. The accompanying text can help you understand how the photographer selects images and brings them together in a series.
More than one exhibition
The different presentations may each take a different approach. Check the current overview and divide your time so that a large exhibition does not automatically push smaller parts of the programme into the background.
Photobooks as a complement
The bookshop and café are mentioned alongside the galleries. A photobook can offer a different way of ordering images than a wall display, depending on what is available.
Before you go
Check the actual opening after the announced renovation period. Some galleries and passageways are less accessible; discuss in advance which route is feasible.
