Entering the hall
In a richly finished hall, walls, ceiling and doorways work together. Look at the stucco work both as a whole and in detail, and use the accompanying information to learn about the function of the space.
From staircase to room
The stairwell links different parts of the house. In the rooms, attention shifts to chimneypieces and furnishings; the route thus shows more than individual decorative elements.
