Time for an exhibition
A coherent presentation calls for more than ticking off famous names. Look at how works have been placed side by side and which question or period the exhibition takes as its starting point.
More than the galleries
Family activities, concerts and educational programmes are mentioned alongside the exhibitions. They have their own dates and conditions; the garden, shop and café are also separate parts of a visit.
Before you go
Check the time slot, last admission and occasional closures. Christmas and New Year have different hours, so the general daily opening has exceptions.
