Tracing a place
A name, street or building can be a good starting point for a visit. Put your question as specifically as possible beforehand, so that the volunteers can point out which material is useful.
Old and recent side by side
The centre covers both older and recent history. A research question therefore need not go far back; changes that residents know themselves can also be a way in.
More than an exhibition
Guided tours and advice are mentioned alongside the presentations. These may require a separate appointment, especially if you come with a group or need extensive support.
Before you go
Walk-in hours are limited to Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, with different hours. An appointment is advisable for research; also confirm the current location and accessibility.
