Seeing through technology
A microbe cannot be seen directly with the naked eye. With each image, note the magnification, staining method and whether the material is live or recorded before you compare size or movement.
Microbes as a community
The display shows beneficial and harmful relationships. Choose one example from the body and one from food and name the conditions under which the microbe works.
Museum and park are different
Micropia is located at ARTIS but has its own entrance and hours. The park opening from 09.00 does not mean the museum is open then; Micropia opens daily at 10.00.
Before you go
Daily 10.00–17.00; on New Year’s Eve the complex closes earlier. Do not use the longer hours of ARTIS-Park.
