Images on an architectural scale
First walk along the edge of an installation, then through its intended centre. Pay attention to the edge of the projection, the screen, reflections and the position of the speakers.
Interaction or automatic loop
Ask whether a work responds to visitors or follows a predetermined sequence. Then see how movement, standing still and your position change the experience.
The exhibition keeps changing
A title such as Pioneers of Media Art is temporary and may include other works or rooms. Check the current artists and technical warnings before you expect a favourite.
