Representation and spectacle
Some displays are emphatically theatrical. Separate documentary material from set dressing, humour or fantasy, and note who is depicted and by whom.
A museum from sixteen
The minimum age is sixteen and the content is explicit. If you are in a group, discuss beforehand what everyone wants to see; the building and the crowds may set the pace.
Before you go
Normally daily 10:00–18:00; on New Year’s Day from 12:00. The FAQ gives a different date for a holiday closure: confirm the exact closing day before you set off.
