Deeds, maps and photographs have a specific maker and administrative function. For one item, read the date, sender and archival context before using it as a complete picture of the city.
Exhibitions and reading room differ
Public exhibitions are open at weekends, while the information centre and research have more limited weekdays. An exhibition ticket or free admission does not automatically give access to archive documents.
