Look at category, period and material rather than just quantity. Ask which pieces are toys for play, collector’s items or reproductions, and how fragile examples are protected.
Playing is part of the tour
The visit is organised as a play event, so touching and demonstrating are only possible as instructed. Not every visible object is automatically available to play with.
