A regional perspective
The focus on the Zaanstreek makes it possible to link events to specific places. During a visit, ask which local sites feature in the display. The museum also describes restoration work and other activities around the collection.
Irregular opening
A fixed timetable has not been confirmed. Secondary listings mention the first Sunday of the month from May to October, but the museum’s own website gives no certainty about this. So ask directly whether a visit is possible on your date.
