Crafts in the museum
The forge and craft demonstrations can add extra explanation to the collection. They take place at specific times and are not automatically available throughout the day. Ask on arrival which activities are taking place that day and plan your tour around them.
Check the season
The regular weekly timetable lists Tuesday to Sunday, but other information links the renovated museum to a season running until early November. Outside that period, check whether it is open. The museum states that it is suitable for visitors with reduced mobility.
