Reading a house
Do not just walk from object to object; also pay attention to how the rooms connect. The furnishings help you ask questions about living in a smaller house. That way a box bed or opkamer takes on meaning within the whole.
A different subject upstairs
The temporary exhibition is on the upper floor, while the herb garden awaits outside. These different parts do not require the same physical effort. Decide in advance what is manageable for your group and ask which presentation can be seen downstairs.
A historic building has limitations
The house is not accessible for wheelchairs or mobility scooters, and the stairs to the upper floor are steep. Being unsteady on your feet can also make the visit difficult. The museum closes in winter and is not open on Sundays and public holidays.
