A blue front room and a pink back room give the interior a character of its own. Pay attention to how colours, furniture and the boundaries of the rooms relate to each other. The guided tour helps you understand the house as a home.
Details up close
Box beds, a kitchen with a fireplace and tiles draw attention to everyday use. Ask about the background of any detail that catches your eye. Because the house is still lived in, there are visitor rules that you must follow during the tour.
Only at a booked time
From May to October there are guided tours on Mondays at fixed start times. The house does not have continuous afternoon opening. Tickets are sold through VVV Texel; groups must make an appointment further in advance. Several small flights of steps limit accessibility.
Before you go
Book a guided tour. Not suitable for wheelchairs, rollators or buggies; photography and dogs are not allowed.
