The museum is part of the work of Stichting Egmond ’40–’45. The Atlantic Wall bunker provides a concrete setting for asking questions about the coast during the war. See which function of the building is explained on site.
Finds in context
Pieces of wreckage and other remains call for explanation of their origin and use. Read what is known about an object and ask further if something remains unclear. That way the collection becomes more than an assortment of striking remnants.
Two Sundays a month
Regular opening is on the first and third Sunday from April to October. Extra days, for example around Bunkerdag (Bunker Day), are announced separately. Outside those times, groups can enquire about a guided tour.
