A guide can explain how the various parts of the mill fit together. Notice how movement is transmitted and which parts are actually accessible or working during the tour.
A building with height
The visitor route leads through a mill with steep stairs. The climb is part of the experience and needs thinking through beforehand, especially if you are coming with children or people with limited mobility.
Choosing a time slot
The regular guided tours last roughly half an hour to three quarters of an hour. Allow enough time for arrival and do not wait until just before closing, when the last tour may already have left.
Before you go
Only the reception area is wheelchair accessible and children under five are not admitted. Check the season, weather and volunteer availability via the booking system.
