Read which find spot and context are given for an object. That information makes it clearer why it belongs in a local museum than the recognisability of its shape or material alone.
Looking with questions
Archaeology cannot answer every question. The explanations can show what a find supports and what remains uncertain; keep that difference in mind as you look at the presentation.
Education by appointment
The museum mentions programmes for primary schools and private groups. These require a separate appointment and can offer a more focused introduction than an ordinary short tour of the museum.
Before you go
Individual visits are possible during limited hours on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Check for changes during holidays and the correct route to the semi-basement on the Willibrordus site.
