Archaeological finds as a source on the town
For archaeological material, read the find spot, layer and dating. A loose object only tells you something about Medemblik if its context has been preserved.
A museum at a lodging venue
The exhibition uses rooms at Lodge 61, and visits are booked there. According to the research card, the price includes coffee or tea; do not expect an independent town museum that is open every day.

Only 1 March–31 October and the week before Christmas, Wednesday–Friday 13.30–16.00; no regular public visits on other days.
